We not only build the toughest Batwing®, we build the only Batwing®. In the late 1950’s, two Woods engineers began sketching concepts for a flexible wing cutter with an innovative drive system and decks hinged in thre pieces to better conform to the rolling terrain. With the introduction in the autumn of 1963, the Batwing® took flight and has soared ever since.
